Apple don’t do component level repairs. If there is a fault on the logic board they quote to replace the entire board.
We are qualified electronic engineers who investigate faults using logic, electronic test equipment and circuit diagrams. Rather than replacing an entire logic board, we identify and replace only the failed components—such as integrated circuits, mosfets, inductors, diodes, capacitors and resistors—saving customers the expense of replacing the entire logic board.
